Existential threat due to account suspension
Whether you as a retailer no longer have access to your PayPal or Amazon account or as a creator are denied login to your social media account: Account suspensions are not simply to be accepted or even fixed with the creation of a new profile. They can result in serious financial losses if the business basis is so closely linked to the profile.
We are known from
There are many reasons for account suspensions. Whether data breaches, alleged policy violations or deviant behaviour: An Instagram block can also be imposed, for example, if a user's behaviour deviates from their usual behaviour and the platform's algorithm suspects spam as a result, e.g. if a large number of direct messages are sent at once or a large number of posts are posted, liked or commented on within a short period of time. In the event of repeated offences, however, this often results in longer blocks or permanent exclusion. Incidentally, as part of Meta, Instagram reserves the right to block accounts even if there have only been problems with the Facebook account. This means that the block does not necessarily have to be related to behaviour on the Instagram portal.
Tip: As a rule, blocked Instagram accounts are permanently deleted after around 90 days. It is then no longer possible to lift the block and restore the content, even by legal means. It is therefore important to act quickly. Contact our legal experts for a free initial consultation.
